The Physical Component Of The Course
The main component of the course is the large, thick binder containing twenty complete lessons. Because playing guitar requires the ability to read music, there are pages of music staffs on which appear the many different chords for playing guitar. The lessons include the basics such as how to hold a guitar, how to tune a guitar, how to hold a pick and all about the fretboard.

During the lessons, Steve Krenz teaches different techniques for strumming the chords and much more. Students can watch Steve and do as he does as they learn to place their fingers on the strings correctly along the fretboard.
In the “Learn & Master Guitar” course students learn strumming techniques, how to read music and tab, ear training, Major, Minor and Pentatonic Scales. They also learn how to alternate chords and create chords. There is a large amount of learning material within the twenty invaluable lessons. While watching the DVDs students learn and test their knowledge and understanding by playing what they see and hear on the DVDs.
Music Styles
Students learn the different styles of music and learn about Acoustic guitars, which are the style used to accompany sing-a-longs and similar events. There are lessons about electric and rock guitars. In this, lesson students learn about power chords, power riffs, pedal effects and much more. Students become familiar with the techniques of Eddie Van Halen. They have fun playing songs from the CDs in a rock band Jam along.
Students learn about Classical guitar and about fingerstyle and stylish arpegios. Students become familiar with Country guitar, Blues guitar and Jazz guitar. They have great fun learning Chicken Picken’ in real country style. Students learn muting techniques like those used in Funk and R&B as well as rhythm and style. Students who persevere with this course, finally learn and master guitar.
