Tried to learn the basic blues stuff as well. Found this course at the Gibson website and bought it. It's great for learning to read music as a guitar player. I'm still in the early lessons, but everything here helps. The jam along CDs, the "live" lessons with steve on the DVDs, and the book and resources allow me to practice on my own time, which is great because I can't commit time every week to get lessons from a local teacher.
